Will Delgado Provides Ongoing Commentary on Johnny Depp’s Lawsuit Against Amber Heard

Will Delgado provided ongoing legal commentary to Distractify as actor Johnny Depp’s multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard unfolded in a trial that gripped the country for weeks. When asked what might transpire if Heard was found to owe Depp the millions of dollars of damages he sought, Will shared that “it’s something that could haunt her for a long time.”

During the trial, Will pointed to a critical juncture in the case when Heard mentioned Depp’s ex-girlfriend Kate Moss, thereby opening the door for Depp’s legal team to call Moss to the stand. He predicted that testimony from Moss could “[help] their cause by showing Depp is not the violent person Heard claims,” which is what ultimately happened when Moss testified.

Now that a verdict has been delivered, Distractify again turned to Will for his insight into what could happen next. While there is speculation that Heard may appeal the verdict, Will notes that it could be a difficult battle, sharing that “she’s already violated the first rule of appellate practice: win at trial.”
