Richard is experienced in high-stakes litigation, having played key roles in disputes involving whistleblower statutes, copyright and trademark law, complex financial services contracts, antitrust claims, and more. As a former law clerk to two federal judges, Richard developed a passion for legal writing that he channels into incisive motion practice and persuasive briefing. He is also particularly skilled at preparing witnesses for high-pressure examinations—whether at trial, in depositions, or during hearings.
Outside of work, Richard can be spotted traveling the world, completing the New York Times crossword and Sudoku puzzles, or playing the viola in the South Bay Philharmonic. He also speaks Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu.
