Michael Davis Joins Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Program
DTO Law is pleased to announce that the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has selected Michael Davis as a 2023 Leadership Council Fellow. Michael was selected for this distinguished year-long program by the general counsel and managing partners at LCLD Member corporations and law firms, because of his commendable skills, impact, and commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. This opportunity will provide continued professional development while empowering him to continue supporting the mission of creating a truly diverse legal field.
The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is an organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. LCLD Fellows participate in leadership training sessions and have opportunities to interact with key legal and business leaders of large U.S. corporations and managing partners from the country’s most prestigious law firms. The Pathfinder program provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, leadership skills, and career development strategies
LCLD President Robert J. Grey Jr. noted, “Since its inception in 2011, the LCLD Fellows program has produced some of the most impactful leaders in our industry. I am pleased to see so many talented individuals—452 of them—being recognized for their accomplishments.” Robert also added, “Much thought and research is behind the design of the Pathfinder program, which will serve to advance high-potential diverse attorneys to the next level of their careers.”
DTO attorneys Will Delgado, Megan O’Neill, Mark Tarango, and Lauren Hudecki were Leadership Council Fellows in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2022 respectively, and David Ramírez-Gálvez was a Leadership Council Pathfinder in 2022. Megan O’Neill currently serves on the LCLD Executive Council. DTO’s ongoing commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion within the legal profession has been recognized through numerous individual honors attained by the Firm’s attorneys. In 2022 the Firm received the prestigious California Lawyers Association “Excellence in Diversity Award” and in 2021, the firm was named the “Outstanding Firm for Diversity and Inclusion (USA)” at the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards: North America.
