Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal Names DTO Law to its 2023 List of “Top Boutiques”
The firm is pleased to announce that the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal has again named DTO Law as one of only 20 “Top Boutiques” in the state of California. The prestigious annual list places the firm in its “Litigation” category, highlights the firm’s recent expansion to New York, and covers the firm’s intention of establishing a nationwide full-service, minority-owned firm. According to founding partner Will Delgado, the firm comprises “highly intelligent, highly qualified attorneys who also happen to be… just very cool people.”
The article also highlights the firm’s growing litigation and transactional practices, and discusses the firm’s closing of over a hundred transactions in over 25 states in the past year alone, on the order of multiple billions of dollars. On the litigation front, founding partner Megan O’Neill explains to the Daily Journal that one technique the firm frequently uses is whittling down the size or number of class action claims. Notable litigation clients of the firm include Costco, HP, Honda, Live Nation, Unilever, Nestle Health Science US, PayPal, Penske Media Corporation, Sprouts Farmer’s Market, Ticketmaster, and Target, among others.
“Often, if you’re able to get the case to be one-fiftieth of the size that it started out to be, the ROI for the plaintiff’s counsel is no longer there,” said Megan.
