William Delgado to Present on DEI at Litigation Counsel of America’s Spring Retreat

DTO founding partner William Delgado will present “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: The Inconvenient Truths” as part of the Litigation Counsel of America’s (LCA) 2023 Spring Retreat on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. The retreat will feature distinguished trial and appellate lawyers, who will address the difficulties in today’s changing legal environment that affect litigators. It will also cover trial techniques, including evidence presentation, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution, among other topics.

William’s presentation will address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the candid reality of those challenges within the legal profession. The discussion will pose critical questions concerning the diversification of legal America and whether there has been significant progress over the last two decades. It will offer a more nuanced analysis of familiar truisms and uncomfortable truths in search of answers and what steps if any are necessary to make substantial progress.

This conference for LCA Fellows will allow attendees to network with other litigators from across North America and provide them the opportunity to earn CLE credit. William and co-founding partner, Megan O’Neill, are Fellows of the prestigious LCA honor society, an invitation-only membership for trial lawyers that is comprised of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
