Will Delgado Presented With the 2023 Diversity Law Institute Diversity Award

The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) and the Diversity Law Institute (DLI) selected Will Delgado as the recipient of their 2023 Diversity Law Institute Diversity Award. The annual DLI Diversity Awards honor select legal professionals who have demonstrated immense dedication to the advancement of diversity and inclusion in the legal industry. Will Delgado received this honor as a reflection of his ongoing efforts in supporting DEI initiatives within his own practice, and in the legal profession at large.

As a Partner of DTO, Will embodies what it means to foster an inclusive business. The Firm has been frequently recognized for its DEI efforts including Chambers and Partners’ “Outstanding US Law Firm for Diversity & Inclusion” (2021), the California Lawyers Association’s “Excellence in Diversity Award” (2022), and the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Company of the Year – Small Business” award (2023). Will has served as a leader of NAMWOLF (the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms) for many years, as a member of the Board of Directors and as Vice-Chair, and is active in MCCA (the Minority Corporate Counsel Association), HNBA (the Hispanic National Bar Association), and CABA (the Cuban American Bar Association). He also was a 2017 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and continues to participate in the organization as the firm’s member representative.

The award was presented to Will by LCA Executive Director and General Counsel, G. Steven Henry and Director of the Diversity Law Institute, Avery Henry-Bailey, at the LCA 2023 Spring Retreat which was held on April 23-25, 2023 in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
