DTO Law’s 2024 Holiday Outreach: Supporting Communities Through Convoy of Hope
DTO Law partnered with Convoy of Hope to deliver critical relief to communities impacted by the devastation of Hurricanes Milton and Helene. As part of its holiday initiative, the firm funded and assembled 250 relief kits during a special gathering in Los Angeles, with participation from employees across its Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, and New York offices.
Convoy of Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating poverty, hunger, and hardship, will distribute the kits to residents in Southeastern communities severely affected by the hurricanes. The organization has already made significant strides in disaster relief, recently distributing over 1.1 million pounds of essential supplies to tens of thousands of people in 40 impacted communities.
DTO employees generously contributed funds that the firm matched, doubling the impact of their efforts. “Our team’s collective effort represents more than just assembling relief kits,” said Michael Davis, Chair of DTO’s Community Outreach Committee. “The holidays are a time to give back and reflect on how we can make a difference. Each kit symbolizes our firm’s commitment to supporting communities in crisis and providing hope where it’s needed most.”
Founding Partner Megan O’Neill underscored the importance of teamwork and service: “This initiative is a testament to what we can accomplish when we come together. Supporting Convoy of Hope allows us to extend our care and resources to those facing unimaginable challenges, and that’s a responsibility we take to heart at DTO.”
