Destiny Lopez to Present at the Pro Bono Institute 2024 Annual Conference

DTO Law proudly announces the participation of associate Destiny Lopez as a panelist at the Pro Bono Institute 2024 Annual Conference held at The Westin in Washington D.C. on March 8, 2024. The panel, titled “Safeguarding the Right to Vote,” will feature Lopez alongside Stephanie Lin, Counsel at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, and Brian Dimmick, Senior Staff Attorney of the Disability Rights Program at the American Civil Liberties Union.

Focused on the repercussions of voter suppression laws in Texas and Georgia, the session will delve into the collaborative strategies employed by non-profit organizations and private law firms to challenge these restrictive voting laws. The discussion will offer valuable insights into the legal challenges faced and the proactive role law firms have played in addressing issues affecting marginalized communities.
